Hello Backers,

We’re excited to share the latest update from our printer regarding the production status! The printer has confirmed that production is expected to be completed by mid-October, after which they will begin the pre-packaging process.

Once that's complete, they will ship the portion of the order for international backers (who selected this option in the survey) directly from China, while the rest will be sent by freight to our fulfillment company in the U.S.

We’ve also received a lot of great photos from the printer. You’ll see the stickers in production, including 'The Sun' sticker, which we’ve made into a larger extra sticker just for you! Additionally, there are many other stickers from the deck, many of which are from the Steamboat Arcana 1928 bonus cards.

Along with the sticker photos, we’ve included the bonus cards from Steamboat Arcana 1928, as well as more photos of the cloth and pouches being packaged.

This is the larger 'The Sun' sticker which is from the tapestry design. This sticker was made with the idea that it would make a great sticker for the backs of people's laptops. 

These stickers are from the decks and you can see the 'Creativity' bonus card from the Gaucho's Arcana 1928 deck. These stickers are the size of a card.

These are smaller stickers and you can see some of the bonus cards here from Steamboat Arcana 1928. On the bottom are stickers from The Guacho's Arcana 1928.

These are what the bonus cards look like for Steamboat Arcana 1928 and we had our illustrator Lisa come up with the ideas for the designs. They're meant to be fun extra cards that you can put up for decorations and are motivational and inspirational.

Hello Backers,

Here's a quick look at the Steamboat Arcana tote bag and tapestry! The tote bag features printing on both sides, and we think it turned out great. Both items were printed about a month ago.

Hello Backers!

We’re back with another progress update for Steamboat Arcana 1928, and we're excited to share where we stand!

Our printer has informed us that all production is set to be completed by mid-October. We’ve been working closely with them to ensure every detail is just right. To give you a sneak peek into what’s happening, we've received photos of the tarot pouches, keychain, and coin.

We’ve also received the proofs for the tarot guidebook. Our production designer is set to review these in the next day or two, after which we’ll move forward with final approval. This is a crucial step, and we're making sure every element meets the high standards we've set for this project.

We appreciate your patience and continued support as we bring this vision to life. Stay tuned for more updates as we progress. We’re eager to get Steamboat Arcana 1928 into your hands and can’t wait for you to experience it!

Production Update: Progress and Adjusted Shipping Timeline

Hello Backers,

We’ve been making steady progress and wanted to keep you in the loop with the latest developments.

The production process has been moving forward, but with the sheer number of stretch goal items, it's taken a bit longer than we anticipated. We've been working closely with our printer to ensure every detail is perfect, which has involved daily communication to address the complexities of pre-packaging and customizations.

While we originally planned to begin shipping in October, we're now expecting fulfillment to start in early November. The printer has informed us that they aim to begin printing in late September or early October, so things are well on their way! This new timeline puts us about a month and a half behind schedule, but we’re confident it will result in a product that meets the high standards we’ve set.

As soon as printing begins, we’ll be sharing regular updates to keep you informed every step of the way—through manufacturing, shipping, and delivery. You can expect more frequent updates very soon!

We truly appreciate your patience and continued support as we finalize everything. We’re excited to get these products into your hands as soon as possible!

🚢✨ Steamboat Arcana Production Update: Printing Progress and More! ✨🚢

Dear Backers,

We have some exciting updates to share with you regarding the Steamboat Arcana 1928 project!

Production Update:

Our production designer reviewed the samples from the printer and has approved all the files for the standard and mini-decks for printing. We were really happy overall with the printing samples. Additionally, the other stretch-goal items have been submitted to the printer and are now in production.

Card Stock Details:

The standard deck cards are being printed on 330 GSM blackcore stock. While it was challenging to find vendors in China who offered 350 GSM blackcore stock, it's worth noting that 330 GSM paper stock is a high-quality option and is often used for luxury formats, as seen with the Baroque Tarot's reprinting. This decision was made to ensure we stay on schedule, not to save costs. The mini decks will be printed on 310 GSM stock, which provides an excellent balance of durability and flexibility.

Alternative Paper Stock:

The printer has agreed to print about 70 decks on a different paper stock. I will be reviewing my notes this week and reaching out to some backers to determine the  alternative paper option to linen. However, we can only select one alternative for these 70 decks.

Fulfillment Discussions:

This week and next, I will be discussing fulfillment options through China with the printer and also coordinating with Fulfillrite to ensure everything is produced to their specifications in order to make the fulfillment process go as smoothly as possible.

Timeline:

The production time for printing is estimated to be between 30-45 days. We are currently perfectly on track with our original predicted schedule and will continue to keep you informed and updated as we progress.
